LECTURE PRESENTATIONS
All speakers are required to arrive in the session room at least 10 minutes before the session begins. Presentation files must be uploaded in PDF format only to the session computer prior to the start of the session — no other formats will be accepted. Each presentation is allocated 15 minutes, followed by a 3-minute Q&A and discussion period.
Preparation of Visuals
Please consider the following recommendations while preparing your slide presentation for NEWCAS 2025:
- Authors should add the name of the conference (NEWCAS 2025) and paper title as a footnote for each slide (except the first one). This will help the audience to find your work on the proceedings and identify it as a NEWCAS 2025 publication.
- The presentation must be prepared in advance as a PDF file (only) and it will be uploaded to the computer available for presentation in the appointed room. It will not be possible to use your personal computer for the presentation.
- PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU MUST BRING BRING A MEMORY STICK CONTAINING YOUR PRESENTATION FILE.
- Presenters must arrive in their appointed room 15 minutes BEFORE the start of the session. The session chair will ask you for a short bio information and check if everything is correct before the session starts.
- To avoid software compatibility problems, speakers are advised to EMBED ALL FONTS in the PDF file.
If these recommendations are not followed you risk being flagged as NO-SHOW, which has a consequence of having your paper withdrawn from the proceedings and IEEE Xplore.
POSTER PRESENTATIONS
Posters will be displayed in the cloister corridor, under protective glass covers that require secure opening and closing. These covers will be handled exclusively by the local organizing staff.
Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the session to install your poster. The display surface is fully metallic, and magnets or adhesive tape will be provided at the registration desk for mounting the posters. Kindly ensure that your poster is removed at the end of the session.
The recommended poster format is portrait A0 (84.1 cm wide x 118.9 cm height). Authors are required to print their own poster.
